The Cheboygan Area Jaycees are a leadership training and civic organization for men and women between the ages of 21 and 40. We are an energetic group of young adults who organize a variety of projects in the Cheboygan Area. We bring to you the Easter Egg Scramble, Scare at the Fair, Christmas Wishes, and of course…the World Championship Wanigan Race. We also have plenty of smaller events that keep our membership involved in our community and making connections. Contact us and find out what we are all about!

2nd Annual Cheboygan Jaycees ORV Poker Run

Check-in 9:00 AM

Join us for the Second Annual Cheboygan Jaycees ORV Poker Run brought to you by the Cheboygan Area Jaycees and Brandt’s Sports Center. Last year was a success and great fun! We’ve done a lot of planning to make this year even better. New stops, guided groups, great prizes! We will also host a scavenger hunt Sunday starting at 4:30 ($10/person). Camping goes fast so book your campsite as soon as possible (The Bluffs Campground on Black Lake: 231-625-2080).

Time: check in starts at 9:00 AM and will stop at 10:30 AM. Meeting at 11:00 AM and leaving after.

Price: $25 per person (includes poker hand only)

McLaren Northern Michigan is hosting a Free Needle Drop-off Day on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 9AM to 1PM.

This event will be held at the Cheboygan Campus Drive located at 748 South Main Street, Cheboygan, MI 49721.

The needles are required to be in an approved hard, impermeable plastic container. This event will collect needles ONLY.

Location: North Central State Trailhead – 917 Western Avenue , Cheboygan, MI.

Each distance is a flat out and back, heading south on the trail.

Cheboygan County Sheriff’s Department  is hosting a Medication Drive Thru Drop-off on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 10AM to 2PM.

The event will take place on at the circle drive entrance next to the Emergency Department at the Cheboygan Campus located at 748 South Main Street, Cheboygan, MI 49721.

Items that will be collected include medications, needles, cell phones, shoes, eyeglasses, and hearing aids. Medications will be properly disposed of through an approved hazardous waste vendor and controlled substances will be handled by the Cheboygan County Sheriff’s Department.
